Birdhouses

Found these birdhouses from http://www.renga-arts.com/ a site which sells products made from recycled materials designed by American artists. The Birdhouses are the work of Josef Szuecs (pronounced 'sooch') artist / designer working in the field of functional art and furnishings from reclaimed wood and other materials.

The materials used within the birdhouses are all reclaimed and are chosen for their ability to age with attitude - colour, textures etc

I think they are great and with a bit of adaption -Josef hasn't played with the basic birdhouse form only the decoration. If you go back to basics and ask the right questions such as - What does a bird need in a birdhouse? I think there is a good project here.
