Designing using known parameters (specifications). In this example the project is to design a desktop pencil holder out of a set size of acrylic sheet. Using Pro-Desktop the known specifications were put in first using a single line and constraints.
Some of the known specifications were -
• Length and thickness of pencils
• Variation in pencil size due to usage
• Numbers of pencils
• Size of acrylic sheet
• Radius’ possible in 4mm acrylic sheet
• How it sits on desk
